- Application, Review, Payment and Publication: Ad applications (submitting ad materials) and payments are made in the K-lifeon app. After an advertiser applies, the Company reviews the ad for compliance with our operating policy and applicable law, and only an ad that passes review (is approved) can be paid for in the app. Payment is made only through the in-app purchase system of the app store you downloaded the app from, and the ad runs for 1 month from the time payment is confirmed. No payment is made for an application that is not approved. An application whose review is not completed within 7 days or that is not approved, and an application that is not paid for within 14 days of approval, closes with no charge. Before payment (when applying), the Company informs the advertiser of the grounds on which withdrawal is restricted and obtains the advertiser's consent. Up to 3 applications awaiting review can be submitted per account. Ad materials submitted by the advertiser (business name, photos, text, contact details, etc.) are used only for review and for running the ad, and are retained for 6 months from the day the ad ends and then deleted (materials of an application that closed without payment are deleted 7 days after it closes).
- Review Criteria: The Company may refuse to publish an ad that falls under any of the following: (i) industries for which advertising is restricted by applicable law (e.g., adult content, gambling, illegal lending); (ii) false or exaggerated advertising; (iii) content that infringes a third party's intellectual property rights; (iv) photos the advertiser did not take or has no right to use, photos showing a recognisable person without that person's consent, and photos unrelated to the actual business or products or likely to mislead; (v) for job ad products, ads without the actual recruiting business's name and contact details or using contact details whose owner cannot be clearly identified, such as a P.O. box, ads offering conditions below the minimum wage, and ads recruiting for prostitution or adult entertainment businesses (Article 28 of the Enforcement Decree of the Employment Security Act). If an ad does not pass review, the Company will notify the advertiser of the reason; because this happens before payment, no charge is made. Even after publication, the Company may forcibly suspend an ad's display without prior notice if inappropriate content is found. When an ad photo is received, metadata inside the photo (EXIF) such as shooting location (GPS) and device information is removed and the photo is kept privately; once approved and published, it is labelled "Provided by the owner" on the ad page.
- Advertiser Obligations: Ad content must be factually accurate and must not infringe on the rights of others.
- Expiration and Renewal: An ad automatically ends when its paid period (1 month) expires and is not charged again automatically. The advertiser is notified 3 days before expiration via an in-service notification (including a push notification if the app is installed); to keep running the ad, the advertiser must apply again. When the Company runs an event, it may publish ads free of charge; the conditions follow the relevant event notice or an individual notice. No payment is made automatically when the free period ends.
- Payment and Refunds: Payments, withdrawals and refunds follow the policies and procedures of the app store you downloaded the app from first; for details, see the Payment & Settlement Policy and the Refund Policy. If, after payment, the Company cannot run an ad or must stop it for reasons on its side, the Company will respond through Customer Support. If needed, contact Customer Support (Inquiries) and the Company will help with a refund request or other necessary steps.
