Terms of Service
Article 1 (Purpose) These Terms govern the conditions and procedures for using K-lifeon (the "Service"), operated by BJB luxury (비제이비럭셔리; CEO Bae Ho-ik, Business Registration No. 863-07-03203, the "Company"), and the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and users.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "User" means anyone using the Service under these Terms, including both members and non-members.
- "Member" means a user who has registered an account and may continuously use features such as posting.
- "Non-member" means a user who uses only the Service's browsing features without signing in.
- "Guest member" means a user signed in via an anonymous account created without an email address, who may browse the Service, use the AI Assistant, purchase paid services (AI Membership and ad products), file reports (up to 5 a day), contact customer support (up to 3 inquiries a day), block members, and change their own settings; posting, liking, bookmarking, writing comments, suggesting information corrections, owner verification, uploading photos, signing up for alerts, and submitting job listings are available only to members who signed up with email or a social account.
- "Post" means text, photos, videos, or other information a member publishes while using the Service.
Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of Terms) ① The Company shall post these Terms, its trade name (BJB luxury (비제이비럭셔리)), representative's name (Bae Ho-ik), address (2F (Entire Floor), 34 Apsansunhwan-ro 87-gil, Nam-gu, Daegu, Republic of Korea), contact details (070-8098-5553), website (https://www.k-lifeon.com), business registration number (863-07-03203), mail-order business registration number (No. 제2026-대구남구-305호), location-based service provider registration number (No. 1493, Broadcasting Media Communication Office-3632, accepted Sept 2, 2026), employment information provision business registration number (J1400020260004, registered Sept 4, 2026, K-lifeon), and the personal-information protection officer on the app's initial screen or My Info screen. ② The Company may amend these Terms within the scope permitted by applicable law. ③ Amendments shall be announced at least 7 days before their effective date, stating the date and reason; changes disadvantageous to users shall be announced at least 30 days in advance. ④ Continued use of the Service after an amendment notice is deemed acceptance of the amended Terms.
Article 4 (Service Content and Method of Use) ① The Company provides the following services: AI Assistant; Map (marts, restaurants, hospitals/pharmacies, banks/post offices, life services, tourist attractions, lodging, camping, amusement parks, shopping (Daiso and Olive Young) — 10 categories in total); Tourist Attractions; Hospital & Pharmacy Information (public data); Concert/Performance Information; Visa & Labor Information; Life Guides; News; Weather; Exchange Rates; Official Job Listings (via Work24 integration); Job Postings; Community Boards (Free / Help Requests / Secondhand); Camera Translation; Integrated Search; Bookmarks; Membership Tiers; AI Membership (in-app subscription); Paid Advertising Products; My Plans (saving and managing plans made with the AI Assistant or by hand, and sending/importing plans to and from other devices with a single-use QR code). ② Non-members may view the board, map, life guides and similar content, and use camera translation. Reporting, contacting customer support, and purchasing paid services are available to members (including guest members; guests may file up to 5 reports and 3 inquiries a day), while other interactive features such as posting, liking, bookmarking, writing comments, and submitting job listings are available only to members other than guest members. ③ The Company is not a party to transactions between users and does not act as a mail-order intermediary for them. ④ The Company may send transactional and informational notifications needed to use the Service (such as comments and replies, results of reports, ad review results, a notice 3 days before an ad ends, a notice that a bookmarked place was removed from the list, performance or exchange-rate alerts you requested, and account-related notices) through app push notifications, the in-app notification inbox (My Info > Notifications) and similar means; app push notifications are sent only if you allow notifications on your device. Notifications arising between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m. the next day are, except in urgent cases, sent together at 8 a.m. The Company does not currently send promotional information by app push; if it does so in the future, it will first obtain your separate prior consent (including consent for night-time delivery) as required by law. You can turn off notifications in My Info > Notification settings or in your device settings.
Article 4-3 (Use of Location-Based Services and Protection of Personal Location Information)
(1) The Company provides location-based services that sort and display nearby places — marts, restaurants, hospitals/pharmacies, banks/post offices, life services, tourist attractions, lodging, camping, amusement parks, and shopping (Daiso and Olive Young) (10 categories in total) — by distance from the user's current location.
(2) The user's location information (GPS coordinates) is processed solely on the user's device (browser) for the purpose of calculating the above distance-based sorting, and is not transmitted to or stored on the Company's servers. Accordingly, no separate server-side retention period arises for personal location information (disclosure of purpose and retention period under Article 19(1)4-2 of the Act on the Protection, Use, Etc. of Location Information: the sole purpose is the distance-based sorting described above, and no retention period arises because the data is never held on the server). Across all features, including the AI Assistant, GPS coordinates are processed solely on the user's device and are never transmitted to the Company's servers. The province/city-level region code calculated from GPS cannot identify a specific individual's precise location and therefore does not constitute personal location information; it is used for purposes such as the AI Assistant's weather guidance. This region code is not separately stored and is discarded immediately after the request is processed; it is calculated solely from GPS coordinates on the user's device, and the Company's servers never receive the original coordinates. When loading a distance-sorted list, only up to two nearby area names calculated on the device (province/city, or city/county/district for hospitals and pharmacies) are sent to the server as search conditions; coordinates are never sent.
(3) Details regarding the collection, use, and provision of personal location information, the designation of a Location Information Manager, and the operation of the location-information handling ledger are governed by the Privacy Policy and the separate Location Information Terms of Use (https://www.k-lifeon.com/legal/location).
Article 4-4 (My Plans and QR Sharing)
① Members (excluding guest members) may save plans made from AI Assistant answers or by hand (title, date, places, times, means of transport and notes) to "My Plans", view them by date, reorder them and delete them; saved plans are visible only to the member. Non-members and guest members can keep plans only on the device they are using, and plans kept on the device are not sent to the Company's servers.
② Users may send a plan to another device with a single-use QR code. When the sending device shows the QR code and the recipient scans it with their phone's built-in camera, the plan opens on that phone and can be saved. A QR code can be used only once, within 10 minutes of being issued, and it does not contain the plan's notes or the sender's personal information such as name or email address. Anyone who scans the QR code can see the plan, so please show it only to people you trust.
③ The map route in My Plans is drawn from the coordinates of the saved places and does not use your current location. The places, times and means of transport in a plan are for reference only, and Article 10-2 also applies to plans made by the AI Assistant.
Article 5 (Membership Registration) Users apply for membership by entering the required information and agreeing to these Terms, and are registered unless one of the following applies: false information, under age 14, or reapplication within 3 years of a prior disqualification. The Company does not separately collect date of birth (minimal-collection principle); instead a mandatory "I am 14 or older" self-declaration checkbox is required. Sign-up supports email registration, social login (Google/Kakao/Apple), and guest login. The Service currently operates paid services, including an AI Membership subscription (KRW 9,900/month, sold only in the app through app store in-app purchase; benefits: unlimited AI Assistant use and no banner ads in the app); minor members aged 14 to under 19 must obtain their legal guardian's consent before using (paying for) any paid service. A paid-service contract entered into by a minor member without the legal guardian's consent may be cancelled by the minor or their legal guardian under the Civil Act of the Republic of Korea.
Article 5-2 (Membership Tier System)
(1) The Company operates a five-tier membership grade (badge) system reflecting members' service activity, as follows: Garnet → Sapphire → Emerald → Ruby → Diamond.
(2) Membership grades are automatically calculated based on activity such as posts and comments, for members whose account is at least 30 days old and who have logged in on at least 10 different days within the most recent 30 days (a grade may be lowered if activity decreases). The detailed calculation criteria may change according to service operation needs.
(3) Membership grades are displayed as a badge on posts and profile screens. The Company does not currently offer any separate usage benefits (discounts, feature differentiation, etc.) tied to grade. If grade-based benefits are introduced in the future, they will be announced in advance pursuant to Article 3.
(4) The Company's administrators may manually adjust a member's grade where there is reasonable cause, such as fraudulently manipulating activity records or violating operating policies including the Community Usage Policy.
Article 6 (Withdrawal and Restriction of Membership) ① Members may request withdrawal at any time. A 7-day grace period applies after the withdrawal request. Logging back in during this period restores the account. After 7 days, all data including posts and comments written by the member is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. However, records such as payment history that must be retained under applicable law are kept separately from the account for the legally required period. ② If a member violates the law or these Terms, the Company may restrict or suspend membership, and may revoke it for repeated or uncorrected violations. ③ Before revoking membership, the Company will give prior notice and at least 30 days to respond, except in cases that must be stopped immediately, such as fraud, unlawful conduct, posting objectionable or harmful content under Article 7, or harassing other users, in which case the Company suspends the account first and notifies the member afterwards.
Article 7 (Member Obligations) Members are responsible for managing their own ID/password and must not let third parties use them. The following are prohibited: false information, identity theft, fraud, abuse/defamation, spam/repeated posting (reviewed and addressed upon report), infringement of intellectual property, posting content harmful to minors, acts against public order and morals, and unauthorized use of the Company's trademarks or logo.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable or harmful content — including obscene, violent, hateful, harassing or fraudulent content — and for users who post it or abuse other users. We review reported posts and comments within 24 hours of the report, hide or remove violating content, and may suspend or terminate the accounts of users who violate these rules.
Article 8 (Management of Posts and Copyright) ① Copyright in a post belongs to the member who created it. The Company only holds a license to use posts to the extent necessary to operate and promote the Service. ② The Company may temporarily hide or delete posts it determines violate the law or these Terms without prior notice, and posts that accumulate reports may be temporarily hidden following administrator review. ③ If the Company receives a report that a post or comment infringes someone's rights, such as privacy or reputation, it may, under Article 44-2 of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, temporarily hide the post or comment for a period of up to 30 days (a temporary measure). When it takes a temporary measure, the Company notifies the reporter and the writer without delay (through the in-app notification inbox, app push, etc.), and the writer may request that it be reposted within the temporary-measure period via My Info > Contact support. The Company reviews the statements of the reporter and the writer and may repost (restore) the content; a post or comment that is not restored within 30 days from the day it was hidden is deleted automatically (the original content of a deleted comment is kept separately for 30 days and then destroyed, as set out in the Privacy Policy). The same procedure applies when content is hidden for a violation of our operating policies. ④ Place photos may be uploaded only by business owners whose owner verification the Company has confirmed (for their own place only) and by the Company (staff); only photos the Company has reviewed and approved are shown on place pages and recommendations (labelled "Provided by the owner" or "Photo by K-lifeon"). An owner who uploads a photo must confirm that they took it or have the right to use it and that anyone recognisable in it has agreed; copyright remains with the owner, and the Company may use the photo free of charge to the extent necessary to display it in the Service. The owner who uploaded a photo is responsible for any infringement of rights it causes. The Company may reject or hide photos that do not meet its standards and will give the reason (hiding follows the same procedure as ③); owners may delete their own photos at any time, and if owner verification is revoked or the owner withdraws, the photos they uploaded stop being shown and are deleted.
Article 9 (Termination and Restriction of Use) Users may withdraw at any time; the Company may restrict use or terminate the agreement, with prior notice, if a user violates Article 7.
Article 10 (Disclaimer) ① The Company is not liable when it cannot provide the Service due to force majeure such as natural disasters, telecommunications failures, or scheduled maintenance. ② The Company is not liable for service disruptions caused by a user's own fault. ③ The Company is not liable for damages arising from direct dealings/contact between users and is not a party to such transactions. ④ The Company does not guarantee the reliability or accuracy of information users post. Place information such as maps, marts, restaurants, banks and post offices is based on public data from the Small Enterprise and Market Service, the Korea Tourism Organization, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Korea Post, the National Medical Center and other public institutions; opening hours, business status (open now, closing soon, etc.) and phone numbers may be missing or differ from reality, and the Company does not guarantee their accuracy. When errors are found, the information is updated through the user information-correction suggestion feature. Places dropped from the public data because they have closed or for similar reasons are removed from lists and bookmarks, and when a place is removed from your bookmarks you are notified in the in-app notification inbox. ⑤ Official job listings (Work24) are provided via the Work24 Open API of Korea's Ministry of Employment and Labor; the Company does not guarantee their accuracy, and machine-translated content may differ from the original. ⑥ Camera translation, board-comment translation, and the English and Thai versions of news and place information are machine-translated (place names are converted according to fixed rules) and may not be accurate; the Korean original prevails. Please use them for reference only for important matters such as official documents, medical, or legal content. ⑦ The life guides (guide articles) and everyday information based on public data (visa and labor, medical, public holidays, exchange rates, government policy news, etc.) are general reference information, not professional advice on legal, medical, immigration, or similar matters. Systems, fees, and procedures may change, so please confirm with the relevant agency (official phone line or website) before applying, visiting, or making a decision. The Company strives to keep the information up to date and will correct any errors you report after checking them. Government policy news consists of articles from Korea Policy Briefing (korea.kr, KOGL Type 1) that are summarized automatically and linked to the original; the original article prevails.
Article 10-2 (Disclaimer for AI Travel Itinerary Recommendations)
(1) The Company provides a feature (the "AI Assistant") in which artificial intelligence automatically generates travel itineraries, attraction, and restaurant recommendations based on information the user provides (region, party size, duration, budget, travel style, etc.) and the Company's place/event data.
(2) Itineraries recommended by the AI Assistant are automatically generated reference information. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy of the following: whether a recommended place is actually open, its business hours or holidays; the accuracy of estimated travel time or routing (real transit-transfer routing is not supported); or displayed prices and cost estimates (menu prices of Good-Price Businesses, or estimates by food type based on the Korea Consumer Agency's Price Information survey, which may differ from actual prices).
(3) Before visiting, booking, or paying based on an AI Assistant recommendation, users are responsible for independently confirming business hours, pricing, and whether a reservation is required.
(4) The Company is not liable for a user's decisions made in reliance on the AI Assistant's recommendations, or their consequences (including schedule disruption or financial loss), except where caused by the Company's intentional misconduct or gross negligence. This applies together with Article 10 (Disclaimer) and Article 11 (Damages).
(5) Data handling related to AI Assistant use (whether conversation content and search criteria are stored, etc.) is governed by the "AI Assistant (chatbot) usage records" item under Privacy Policy Section 9 ("Matters Related to Generative AI / Translation Services").
(6) AI Assistant question limits: Each account gets 5 free AI Assistant questions, which are not replenished. When your free questions are used up, anyone using the app can get 1 more question by watching a rewarded ad to the end (up to 20 times a day; members who have not consented to "Personalized ads", and all iOS app users, are shown non-personalized ads and receive the same reward; whether the ad was watched is determined only by Google's server-side verification). If an ad cannot be loaded, 1 question is allowed after verification by the Company's server (up to 3 times a day, only within 10 minutes of the ad attempt, and not when the user closes the ad midway). AI Membership subscribers can use the AI Assistant without a question limit and see no banner ads in the app.
Article 11 (Damages) ① For free services (board, map, life guides), the Company is not liable for damages to members except where caused by its own willful misconduct or gross negligence. ② For paid services (ad products and the AI Membership subscription), if damage is caused by the Company's fault, the Company is liable within the scope required by law, limited to the amount the user actually paid for that paid product. ③ A member who violates these Terms or causes damage to the Company through unlawful acts is liable to compensate the Company for such damage.
Article 11-2 (Payment and Refunds for Paid Services) (1) All paid purchases in the Service (AI Membership subscription and ad products) are made only through the in-app purchase system of the app store you downloaded the app from. The Company does not receive or store payment-method information such as card details. (2) Payments, withdrawals and refunds follow each store's policies and procedures first. For Apple, refunds can be requested at reportaproblem.apple.com; for other app stores, in the order history of that store's app. (3) If needed, you may contact Customer Support (Inquiries), and the Company will help with a refund request or other necessary steps. (4) An ad product can be paid for only after the Company has reviewed and approved the ad, and if the Company cannot run the ad after payment for reasons on its side, the Company will respond through Customer Support. Details follow the Advertiser Terms, the Payment & Settlement Policy and the Refund Policy.
Article 12 (Dispute Resolution) The Company operates a customer center (inquiry feature) to handle user complaints and feedback and will process them promptly. If a dispute with the Company cannot be resolved amicably, users may apply for mediation with the Electronic Document & Electronic Transaction Dispute Mediation Committee (helpline 118, ARS option 5, or 061-820-1463; www.ecmc.or.kr).
Article 13 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law) Litigation between the Company and a user shall be filed with the court having jurisdiction over the user's address at the time of filing (or the court determined under the Civil Procedure Act if the address is unclear or the user resides abroad), applying the laws of the Republic of Korea.
Article 14 (Language and Interpretation) These Terms are provided in Korean, English (primary), and Thai. If interpretations differ among the three languages, the Korean original prevails.
Addendum These Terms take effect from the Service's official launch date.
Addendum (amended on October 25, 2026) The "My Plans" part of Article 4 ① and Article 4-4 take effect on November 1, 2026. However, for users who agree to the amendment before then (members who sign up agreeing to these Terms after the amended Terms are posted, members who tap [Agree and continue] on the amendment notice screen, and non-members or guest members who agree on the notice screen before using the feature), they apply from the time of agreement.
Effective date: October 25, 2026
